◊ Morning: Close your eyes and remember the long moments you spent playing a princess or a knight… You are in
Pérouges, medieval village ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. Perched on the Dombes plateau, it’s
not for the magnificent view that the village was built on that spot but for its strategic situation that made it impregnable
and where the toll was safe!
On its hill, Pérouges a village is typical of the middle ages village. A craftsmens town where no lord ever reigned, where
agriculture and weaving were the two inhabitants’ resources.
You will not find rich remains but a set like no other where patrician houses and the more modest craftsmen’ houses
give way to the paved streets picturesque. Preserved since 1911 by the Beaux-Arts Authorities and the Defence Committee
it attracts the filmmakers who have used outdoor views in several movies.

◊ Afternoon: Longing for an original and recreative activity, follow the Ain river to discover this region. Go down the river
by canoe kayak or paddle for 5 to 35 km, an adventure with friends or family. You will discover natural sites as well local
fauna and flora at your leisure alternating paddle strokes and relaxing break. Enjoy the many beaches along the way to
relax, picnic or even swim.

◊ Tips: To row down the Ain river for 10km with your family, choose a 4 seat canoe, 60€ half day.
◊ Activities: Golf courses. Amateurs of the little white ball or if you are curious and looking for an initiation, discover one of
the golf courses located in the heart of Dombes.

courses, 1 compact 9-hole course, a practice on water and a possible golf initiation.

a 10 heactar pond, the golf du Clou offers a large variety of games.
- Golf de la Sorelle - Domaine de Gravagneux - Villette-sur-Ain - 04 74 35 47 27- Golf 18-hole course on 75ha. This golf
course is hilly and adapted to all levels.
