Beaujolais is one of the undisputed leaders of mountainbiking. It also offers hundreds of kilometers of well signposted walks and bridle-paths, that are amongst the most beautiful in France. Enjoy the wonder of restored monuments and museums that pay tribute to France’s great men, such as Barthelemy Thimonier or Claude Bernard. Then head for the wine making areas (Pôles œnologiques) where you can learn everything about Beaujolais wines. En route, don’t miss the flower packed villages and houses which form the gateway to the south of France.
